Sam’s Brasserie and Bar is run by co-owner Sam Harrison who has previously worked with Rick Stein. The spacious 100-seat restaurant offers an all day and every day informal neighbourhood affair that seats 100 with a further 55 seats at the bar. The place is decorated nicely keeping in mind the theme of dining with simple yet elegant feel to the interior.

As you enter, you feel relaxed and are greeted by the friendly staff that seat you almost immediately. Lots of space and excellent lighting create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. With the nicely decorated interior, with wooden décor, it sets out a calm ambiance that gives you the mood for the perfect catch up, meal out, or business meeting. It has been carefully crafted with wooden tables, cushioned seats and elegant lighting for that true dining experience.
Whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner, Sam’s Brasserie keeps its menu’s simple and of good value and quality. The menus at Sam's feature everything from light salads to serious roasts, and therefore appeal to everyone from local office workers to parents with children.

Sam’s Brasserie and Bar offer a handful of menu’s to choose from, that suit a time and day of the week. They sure know how to please everyone with menus that range from the main Brasserie menu to weekend/weekday menus, breakfast, lunch, bar and kids menu.

Sam’s Brasserie does extremely well in making sure they offer value for money. For instance, for breakfast everything falls under £10 such as fruit compote porridge (£5.50), eggs on toast (any style for £4.50) or you can try Sam’s full English for £9.00 that includes eggs in any style with sausage, bacon, baked beans and more.

If that’s got you smiling, the lunch and evening menus are also something to look forward to. For a weekday lunch you can have a two-course meal for £12 or a three course for £15, and the menu includes delicious meals. For starters you can have Salmon Fishcakes with Tartar Sauce, and for the main course you can have things like grilled pork chop with mash, spring greens and bacon. Finally you can finish it off with a lovely triple chocolate mousse cake in espresso sauce for dessert. The bar also features its own set of menus that are also all just under £10. Sam’s Brasserie also offers an outstanding wine list ranging from £13.50 to £125. There is also a range of different cocktails available.

Of course a true dining experience isn’t achieved without staff that are exceptionally good at what they do. Staff at Sam’s Brasserie do an excellent job keeping guests satisfied and relaxed whist providing outstanding service. With a friendly, courteous and professional manner, it is no wonder visitors leave with only good things to say about it. It is definitely one to try out.
